Patron Saint brings your Patreon memberships to Apple TV, with native video and audio playback, creator browsing, and search. Watch on the big screen without AirPlay or keeping your phone involved in playback.

Setup takes place through Patron Saint Connect, a free iPhone companion. Scan the TV’s QR code, sign in on Patreon’s website, and confirm the matching codes. Your session transfers with end-to-end encryption over the local network or a Cloudflare relay, so devices don’t need to share Wi-Fi. The relay can’t read the session, and Apple TV runs independently after setup.

The tvOS experience includes:

• Browsing: Featured content, creator catalogs, and global search.

• Playback: Continue Watching, a dedicated audio player, chapter markers from timestamped descriptions, and Up Next prompts.

• Apple TV integration: Recent and in-progress content on the Home Screen through Top Shelf, plus handoff to the YouTube and Vimeo apps.

Watch progress stays on the device; memberships and billing stay with Patreon. An Android TV client for Fire TV and Google TV is in development.
